Kids Corner

BAM! Body and Mind
BAM! Body and Mind is just for kids. It answers questions – no questions asked!! It is for kids 9 to 13 years old. There are games and quizzes and other exciting ways to find out about things like stress, exercise, smelling good and getting along with others – even bullies.

BAM! Body and Mind also has a section for teachers with interactive, educational and fun activities that are linked to the national education standards for science and health. This is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) site.


Environmental Kids Club
Visit the game room, learn about what chemicals can be found in your home and how to test for them, plants and animals in your environment and all the different things that can be done with trash! Enter the art contest! Play cool games! Join the Environmental Kids Club!

Although this site is for kids, there are also links for teenagers and teachers. This site is maintained by the Environmental Protection Agency


FBI Safety
Kids Grades K-5: FBI dogs Darrel and Shirley take kids on a safety field trip! Games and cartoons give important safety tips about the Internet, talking to strangers, and guns.

Rabies – A Disease With Teeth
